This newsletter is dedicated to the loving memory of Vernay “ Vern “ Reindollar II.

Vern as all knew him, was born June 1925 in Geneseo, Illinois. He was the son of Vernay  and Mary Shafer Reindollar. Vern moved to Madison in 1956, and by 1960 he married Dorothy “Dottie” Inglis.

All the words in the world cannot begin to describe Vern.  His laugh still echoes through the chambers of our hearts. We are optimistic that it we remain forever. His sense of humor could run on the verge on that of a naughty school boy, and this we thrived on.

Vern never met a stranger, and he never judge anyone regardless of class distinction. He always listened, as if the only important thing that mattered was whomever he was chatting with.

His chair now sits vacant at board meetings. No one will ever be able to replace our dear Mr. Reindollar.

We take great satisfaction in knowing Vern had the chance to see the beginning work accomplished on Eleutherian. I am sure he has a lot to tell his wife Dottie. We miss you Vern...we miss you.
